Tony Galvin

Tony Galvin (born 12 July 1956 in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England) was an Irish football midfielder/forwards. His club career was mainly with Tottenham where he played 262 games (11 as a sub) scoring 31 goals. He then moved on to Sheffield Wednesday, and later to Swindon Town where he only played 14 matches (8 as a sub). After Swindon, he became an assistant coach to Osvaldo Ardiles. Galvin also won 29 caps for Ireland, starting in Ireland's three Euro 88 games against England, USSR and Holland.
