Was he Jewish? Stein is typically a Jewish name. The reason I ask is that discrimination at the time was pervasive, and that only two Jews were known to have received the Medal of Honor during the war. This discriminiation continued through Korea, but seems to have tapered off afterward.68.111.71.197 (talk) 23:07, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
