[edit] "Stay Tooned"

I have an old VHS recording of a tv show (UK) where Tony Robinson narrates a show about drawing cartoons (mostly Warner Brothers cartoons) and shows some clips of classic cartoons after talking about them. I will watch the VHS and try and find more information about it (the name of the show is cut off), but does anyone know about his involvement in such a show? This was probably late 80s.

Now you come to mention it... ...I had forgotten all about this.
Programme in question was Stay Tooned, and was extremely good. Found out the title (which I had forgotten) courtesy of IMDB (see Stay Tooned). Enjoy your video! -- EdJogg 16:40, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "Airline"

someone should mention he narrated the TV show airline

[edit] Politics

Tony's activity in politics well precedes the dates given. Both he and his then partner Mary were active in Bristol Labour politics, and Tony had stood as a council candidate in the mid 80s for the Clifton ward where he then lived. Bob aka Linuxlad 11:41, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] POV sentence removed

I have removed the following text which was added today (concerning Robinson's involvement with Time Team):

...where his derogatory views on metal detecting have made him highly disliked by detectorists.

Quite apart from the fact that it breaks the flow of an otherwise adequate section, it is not cited, and smacks distinctly of 'POV' to me.

[edit] Earth size

84.64.42.121 (talk) 16:56, 8 June 2008 (UTC)Tony can you please let me know the answer to a question I have been wondering about.: If all of the rotting vegitation is covering the artifacts that you dig up on the time team programms to such a depth as it does. Does this mean that the earth is getting larger? Or is it just that the wind is blowing the same dust around?
