[edit] ATTN: 68.74.72.127

Blatant advertising? How is plugging deadspin not "blatant advertising"? It was a source to a real media interview where Reali answered a question about their Karaoke Friday tradition and why it got axed. The information was kept up for a month before you decided to take it down, and because you have no other edits (at all), I will take the liberty to put it back in there to clarify an already short article. 65.30.42.124 05:18, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] What?

I deleted this because it's vandalism. 66.253.204.6 23:04, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

"He also seems to have a running rivalry with Michael Smith, probably because Smith is black and more handsome than Reali."

[edit] Rick Martel

I am deleting the claim that Reali is related to Martel. It is not backed up with a source, and a Google search brings up nothing. The only sites which mention the two on the same page are wiki and answers.com, which of course is the same article. Also, as Reali is of Italian descent and Martel is French Canadian, it doesn't seem plausible that they would be related. If anyone has a source on this, please put it back! The pages needs to be expanded. Faithlessthewonderboy 23:13, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Beefcake

To echo the randomly-inserted sentiment at the top of the talk page, it does seem to be a notable and widely-held opinion that Reali is eye candy (although I wonder if it wasn't Reali himself who inserted that comment at the top of this page). Kornheiser often prefaced a non-segue to Reali at the end of an episode of PTI by saying something like, "Reali's out today so no beefcake" or something to that effect, and his photogenic mug may have had a lot to do with his quick rise -- he doesn't have the bona fides (or journalism cred) of a lot of people with less face time on ESPN. It may be worth entering somewhere in the article that he's eye candy. I am mentioning it on this page (rather than boldly writing it that way myself) both to build consensus and because BLPs scare me. (It would probably be moot if someone had a picture of him -- Reali, you wanna upload a photo?) Deltopia 21:11, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

I think it's worth noting (it's undoubtedly true) but it has to be properly sourced. It's easy enough to find a blog entry or a letter to the editor discussing Reali's good looks, but it would absolutely have to come from a reliable source. Actually, looking at the article I am shocked to see that every source listed has been one that I have put in! :O We need some help here, people! Oh, and how 'bout it Reali? We know you're reading this. Throw us a bone? faithless (speak) 23:43, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Would Kornheiser count as a reliable source if he made some passing reference to Reali's hotness during PTI? I can wait for one (he used to make such references often; he might have a crush) and just cite the show as the source when/if it recurs... Deltopia 23:02, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
My gut reaction is yes, but I've never cited a television show before. I think it can be done, though. I searched Google News for such a reference, and I think a saw a few, but they were all sources which you have to pay to view, so that's no good. I would think that either the Post or ESPN magazine would have made some passing reference (even if it was just Kornheiser in his article), but I've been unable track anything down. I did, however, find something, I think on the Huffington Post, that referred to him as being handsome or some such, and I included that yesterday. Perhaps there's a PTI clip on youtube? A lot of people upload Over/Under, Role Play and those segments, one of them might include Konheiser doing the beefcake line. faithless (speak) 02:41, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
