To-do list for Ton Duc Thang:

Here are some tasks you can do:

If possible, could anyone expand on the legacy of Ton Duc Thang. I tried to cover bits and pieces of it, and tried not to avert from a NPOV. --Nishkid64 15:07, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

Can anyone get a picture of this man? I'm trying to get one from official sites of the Vietnam government. Maybe I will add it later but if you have good pic then please feel free to add it. Hawkie 19:14, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

    [edit] Peer review of bio

I am not familar with this person, but can give you some tips on getting article good rating.

    1. Insure article is in {{subst:Biography}} format
    • Your pretty much there, just add "Biography" heading, and make current ones subs of it
    1. Add a "References" section and try and WP:CITE your sources. Even if it's a written book, you can still cite it as source
    2. Added external links section if you can to further reading

Hope this helps! Hackajar 16:10, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the peer review. Before I wrote this article, I did not know who this person was at all. I just made it by reading through some encyclopedic articles. I did not use a written book at all, and I just cited the web pages I used. I'll try to find more if I can. --Nishkid64 21:31, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

    [edit] No specific references

The article seems to be pretty good already, except for the lack of specific references. Was "Imagined Ancestries of Vietnamese Communism: Ton Duc Thang and the Politics of History and Memory" used in the creation of the article? If so, it should be listed under "references", not "further reading". The current references are very general, and don't specify which encyclopedias were used for specific claims in the article. I'd suggest using in-line references (either links or footnotes). Cherak 20:22, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

I did not use the book at all. I had to basically use the encyclopedia sources. I guess I'll try to add in-line refs for the article (although I took most of the information from Brittanica). --Nishkid64 21:59, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
