Hi Tom,

I'm afraid I'm not an admin on wikipedia, but I can give you some useful background to help you with your article.

Firstly, understand that wikipedia is deluged by articles on local unsigned bands, so there is a guideline for band articles that have to be met that you can find here.

This basically means that you need to have reliable sources about your band to base the article on. This could be evidence that records the bands have released have charted, or at least radio airplay or reviews in the music or national press. Please understand that some people are upset by people using Wikipedia for free advertising, so they react harshly to articles that they think are guilty of this, especially for so-called 'Myspace bands'. ie bands that are using the internet to promote themselves but have not established a strong fanbase.

Looking at Le Boom, I think you will find it difficult to make a case, until the band makes the next step up in terms of success - i.e when people outside of Denver start to take notice.

I hope you find this helpful. Catchpole 13:53, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Wswin.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Wswin.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --OrphanBot 23:12, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
