Tommy McGuigan is a Tyrone Gaelic footballer, who made his Ulster Championship debut on May 20, 2007, against Fermanagh GAA.
[edit] Personal life
His older brother is two-time All-Ireland-winning Tyrone star, Brian McGuigan, and his father Frank is considered one of the legends of Tyrone football.
[edit] Playing career
In his championship debut against Fermanagh, McGuigan led the Tyrone charge, in a shaky performance for the team. He scored three valuable points, as Tyrone were playing through difficult portions of the match.[1]
This performance has been dulled somewhat, by the fact that he has picked up a broken wrist, and may miss the rest of the Ulster Senior Football Championship, should Tyrone progress.[2]
