Tommy Jönsson (born March 4, 1976) is a Swedish football player, who plays defender for Halmstads BK. He started his career in the club GIF Nike and at the age of 16 moved to Malmö FF, where he played for 6 years, in 1998 he decided to go to Halmstads BK and have played there ever since. Since 2003 he have been Halmstads BKs team captain, he succeeded Petter Hansson.
