Tomiji Kobayashi

Tomiji Kobayashi (born January 31, 1947 in Gunma Prefecture, Japan) was President and CEO of Taiyo Yuden Co., Ltd..

Kobayashi graduated from the Tokyo Denki University, Department of Communication Engineering in 1969. He entered Taiyo Yuden in March 1969, became Managing Director of the Sales Headquarters in June 1995, Executive Managing Director in June 1997 and Senior Executive Managing Director in June 1999. In July 2001, he became Executive Vice President and Director. On December 24, 2003, Kobayashi became President and CEO of Taiyo Yuden, replacing the now Honorary Chairman Mitsugu Kawada.
