Tom Spilsbury

Tom Spilsbury, born in Swindon, England, in 1976, is a British writer, magazine editor and journalist. He is the editor of Doctor Who Magazine, having taken over from previous editor Clayton Hickman in August 2007. He first joined the magazine in 2003 as deputy editor.

Prior to this, Spilsbury was editor of TV Zone magazine between 2001 and 2003. He has written for and contributed to many publications including the British magazines Starburst, Shivers, Film Review, Ultimate DVD, and Cult Times, and has interviewed subjects such as Graeme Harper, Andrew Cartmel and The League of Gentlemen.

He is also a contributor to BBC Worldwide/2 entertain Ltd's Doctor Who DVD range, most recently appearing as a talking head on the Region 2 DVD releases of The Androids of Tara and The Armageddon Factor in 2007.
