OHL Priority Selection- Plymouth 5th Round (93rd) 2003.
Sestito was selected 85th Overall in the third round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the Columbus Blue Jackets.
He is the younger brother of former Whaler Tim Sestito who now plays for the Edmonton Oilers organization.
Sestito was, at first, primarily a large body for physical play. But in the recent past, namely, on and off in the 2006 season, and much more in the 2007 season, he has improved his offensive play, and now has found a niche for scoring.
