Tom Metcalf

Thomas John Metcalf (born July 16, 1940, in Amherst, Wisconsin) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees.

Metcalf, at the age of 23, pitched in 8 games, since his Major League debut on August 4, 1963. Metcalf's Major League Baseball career ended September 20, 1963.

Of Metcalf's 8 games played, he was credited 1 win, pitched 13 innings. Metcalf's earned run average, or E.R.A., was a respectable 2.77, allowing just 4 runs, including one home run.[1]

Metcalf currently resides in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, and is the owner of Metcalf Lumber in Wisconsin Rapids.
