Thomas Wayne Gibis (Born August 22, 1965 in West St. Paul, Minnesota) is a voice actor that is best known for playing the voice of Shikamaru Nara on Naruto. Gibis made a rare public appearance at Anime Expo 2006 along with a lot of other cast members from Naruto. He apparently had broken his arm as he showed up wearing an arm sling.
Note regarding the arm sling: Mr Gibis had a separated shoulder from a bicycle accident in June 2006. In October 2006 he underwent shoulder reconstruction surgery.
