Tom Dowling (rugby league)

Tom Dowling (Australia) was a rugby league footballer in the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) competition now known as the National Rugby League (NRL).

Dowling was a fullback in the champion Eastern Suburbs sides of the 1930's. Dowling played 66 matches for the club in the years (1933-37). Dowling won premierships with the club in 1935, 1936 and 1937 as well as being a runner up in the 1934 premiership decider. The fullback is recognised as the 224th player to wear the red, white and blue of Eastern Suburbs.
