Tom George Bladon (born December 29, 1952 in Edmonton, Alberta) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played 610 NHL games over a nine-season career mostly with the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins. He won the Stanley Cup with the Flyers in 1974 and 1975. He also had brief stops with the Edmonton Oilers, Winnipeg Jets and Detroit Red Wings. He is best remembered for the game played on December 11, 1977, against the Cleveland Barons, in which he scored four goals and added four assists, becoming the first defenceman and only the fourth person in NHL history to score 8 points in one game (only 12 have done it as of 2008). His plus/minus of +10 in that game is also an NHL record. He currently lives in Alberta, where he owns a Tim Hortons[citation needed].
