[edit] Tom being a pirate before working at CNET

About this section, it technically shouldn't be removed, as Tom Merritt confirmed it on Buzz Out Loud 551: NBC = Not Being Cool. --Wexer9 13:58, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] What, specifically, needs to be sourced that isn't?

It looks to me as if this article has more sourced content than most articles. Why, then, are the notability and primary source tags still present? - Hunter 15:57, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

The primary sources tag was still present because nothing aside from IMDB that is sourced isn't related to Merritt directly. Currently[1] the references are: an IMDB page (the one unaffiliated), three podcasts he appears in, and his resume. Right now it is almost all verifiable, but try to find a review or even just an accessible and consistent ranking of the show. The iTunes ranking varies somewhat wildly from day to day. You said in your edit summary that the Buzz Out Loud podcast was #5, but I went to the itunes store at the time I am writing this, and Veronica Belmont's Mahalo podcast is in that position. There are a lot of podcasts out there, you just need to put something up that helps people verify that it is in fact a notable one. Also I wouldn't use other Wikipedia articles to judge against since very few are rated as good or featured. - Optigan13 (talk) 09:03, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
