Toe Head are an American "Rock/Alternative Pop" group consisting of Westoe (vocals/guitar), Shakey (lead guitar), Jr. Mint (bass) and Pat Pending (drums). The group, founded in November of 2000 in Orange County, California by Westoe, prides itself on its live shows.
On the group's MySpace site, they describe themselves as follows:
"Toe Head is a Super-Ultra-Hydro-Dynamic, Phresh & Phunky meander into the "Not So Sure", combining hEAvY/UltRa-pHunK/ pOp/rOck/sUrf poEtrY inTo A sWizZleStICk "O" fUn".
· Awards: Fender (Fender USA) & OP (Ocean Pacific) "Emerging Artist" CD, June, 2003 for the nationwide release of the single "B-Flip Chonies" (song selected from over 4000 submissions) Release date 10/04. The "New Disaster" CD selected as one of MUSIC CONNECTON'S Top 25 Demos of the year (based on the highest scores given by MUSIC CONNECTON'S Demo Critique Committee), featured in the 2003/2004 Year-End Double Issue. Winners of the 2001 Temecula Valley International Film & Music Festival "Battle of the Bands" September 14th 2001. Selected from over 100 bands. Winners of the Stagg Street Studio recording contract.
