Todd Mowatt is a pioneer in the interactive entertainment industry. He has been covering the gaming industry since 1985, reporting, writing and editing since the early days of the Sega Master System, eight-bit Nintendo and every console system launched since.
He has worked in a variety of capacities at Electronic Gaming Monthly and EGM 2 before becoming Editor-in-Chief (EIC) of Cyber Sports, the first sports gaming magazine. At the same time he tackled the role as the first EIC for P.S.X., the interactive entertainment industry's inaugural PlayStation magazine, and was EIC for three years and stepped down when it was given the official license from Sony and it became the Official (Sony) PlayStation Magazine.
Mowatt has been a contributor to USA Today's Entertainment section and wrote a column on video games for over 15-years before starting the very first Canadian video game magazine Gamesmania/Total Gamer.
Currently he is writing for a number of e-zines and facebook inspired gaming sites. He appears on CP 24's Homepage program as a gaming guru and on CTV's Webmania doing video and PC gaming reviews for the nationally syndicated technology programs.
Mowatt is also the content editor for a high profile Canadian English and French gaming website. He also writes a weekly column for a group of Canadian newspapers and contributes to several men's publications including Fuel, Verve and Maximum Bikini.
