TODALS

TODALS is a mnemonic used in education, specifically for teaching students how to make maps. It is an acronym for "Title, Orientation, Date, Author, Legend, Source", six components that are included on a useful map. Reportedly, the term was originated by the National Geographic Society of the United States.
