Tobias Hogan

Tobias Hogan was a politician from rural Minnesota who served in the state legislature from 1872 - 1886. He did much to streamline the state tax code, which helped the post-Civil War economy of the new state. It was Tobias Hogan who encouraged the immigration of Scandinavians to the northern midwest.
