It is believed that, though this image is derived from a work subject to copyright, usage on Wikipedia, an educational website hosted by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation, in the article on To Catch a Predator, for the sole purpose of aiding critical commentary on the article's subject, adds informational value to the article and does not adversely affect the value of the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work, and therefore qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law.
