Tiszatenyő is a village in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county, in the Northern Great Plain region of central Hungary.

It covers an area of 23.55 km² (9 sq mi) and has a population of 1857 people (2002). It's about 25 km (16 mi) far from Szolnok. It has a railway station in the 120th (Budapest East Railway Station-Szolnok-Békéscsaba-Arad) and the 130th (Szolnok-Tiszatenyő-Szentes-Makó) rail line. It has also a bus stop on the Törökszentmiklós-Martfű road.
