"Tired of Waiting for You" was a hit 1965 rock song by the British Invasion band The Kinks. It reached #1 on the UK Singles Chart. It was recorded late August 1964 at Pye Studios (No. 2), London, with additional guitar overdub at IBC Studios, London in 29 December 1964, "Come On Now" was recorded 22 or 23 December, 1964 at Pye Studios (No. 2).
American punk group Green Day and country music singer Dwight Yoakam have both covered the song. The Green Day version can be found in their album Shenanigans. The Dwight Yoakam version, in Under the Covers. Also Suzi Quatro covered this song in her 1978 album If You Knew Suzi.
