Vishvaksena idol in the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple

Source: Tirumala Temple Official Website

[edit] Fair Use rationale

  • The idol is kept inside the temple and is rarely brought outside the sanctum sanctorum. Cameras are not allowed in the temple campus. Thus there is no freely available image apart from what is circulated by the temple official organization.
  • The image is used to provide an illustration for the pilgrims and cannot be used for any other purpose.
  • The image resolution has been scaled down to meet Wikipedia's norm for 'fair use' regulation.
  • Once we get a free-license photograph of the idol during the annual Brahmostavam festival, we will replace this image.
