[edit] Genre
Tina's novels cover the amusing circumstances that can arise out of young teens' ideas of romance. For example, the central characters in An X-Rated Romance, the eighth graders Emily and Sara, decide to seduce their English teacher, but completely lack any understanding of what is involved. The confrontations and scenarios that evolve are similarly funny. The perspectives change from one book to the next, providing additional hilarity.

- Dating Games [3]
- When Marc Applebaum is crazy about Miss LaRue, his new French teacher, Allison Barrett is pursuing Marc, and Miss LaRue seems interested in Mr. Garfield, an eighth-grade teacher, Jonathan Fisher starts a dating service to straighten things out.
