[edit] Notability

The article is certainly poorly written, but this episode of Voyager is no more or less notable than any other episode of the show. Do we have people who are now opposed to episode guides in Wikipedia? Cjoshuav 20:34, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

The notability guidelines on WP:EPISODE suggest that it needs to have "received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject". The google test shows more than 9000 hits, mostly from unofficial third-party sites (ie: not operated by Paramount) that review or discuss the episode, which seems to at least establish its popularity though not necessarily notability. -- Bovineone 00:26, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
To Cjoshuav; all it does take is one editor with a beef. I've been seeing similar things across Wikipedia. Personally, I hope that if someone does not care for the episode pages, they simply do not go to them.Lots42 15:43, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Trivia

I don't see how any part of the Trivia section matters to the article. A lot of things resemble a lot of other things.

I agree that the alien appearance item is possibly just coincidence. However, the other items (in particular the episode title correspondence to the book) are useful and probably noteworthy. -- Bovineone 05:33, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
