[edit] Redirects to Paint by number
Would you, please, stop redirecting everything with paint, color and number to page, which you kindly like to spam? thanks. -- jsimlo(talk|cont) 13:08, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- Please, also read the Wikipedia:Spam page for info about making a lot of redirects and adding/removing internal/external links. Thanks. -- jsimlo(talk|cont) 13:12, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- Jsimlo, I have not been spamming, I have only tried to correct an error, that is your assertion that a nonogram is a paint by numbers. It is not the generally accepted definition of paint(ing) by number(s). However I can accept that paint by numbers puzzel is a term that refers to nonograms. This issue has now been resolved through the use of a disambiguation page! Timtennant
- Well, according to your edit history, I guess, that you already know, that Paint by numbers is also one of the common names of a Nonogram logic puzzle. I agree, that the disambig page is the best solution, since the Paint by numbers actually do mean both things.
- Regarding the spamming accusation. Review your contributions yourself:
- First, you have added DIYART to external links of Paint by number.
- Second, you have linked a bunch of pages (even creating redirects along the way) to the page with that link. To raise visitors? See a pattern? My appology, if I was all wrong. But you really made your self a revert target by replacing established redirects to the Nonograms. Maybe you can see on the Talk:Nonogram, that the previous name of the Nonogram was actually Paint by numbers and that many people still do not agree with the page rename.
- No hard feelings. Btw, what is your affiliation to the DIYART? -- jsimlo(talk|cont) 21:31, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
