Glenn Gould and the transparency of his musical interpretation
[edit] Terms articulated
Glenn Gould yawned for his solitude and retreat. At the same time, he pursued human connection in his own "medium"; phone calls, letters, and media. Gould was one of the rare persons who was able to express his complicated personality (??) thorough his musics and other publications.
Gould's slience is not a sign of detatchment not coldness; it was filled with creative substances. "He was, she muses, often silent, but it was a natural silence, without strain or artifice and therefore comforting for a child living in a world made noisy by adults." http://www.collectionscanada.ca/glenngould/028010-502.14-e.html

Transparency of his musical interpretation
I got a professional critique that backs me up. But what exactly transparency in: music, and hopefully in psychologically?
- Added Northern soliloquy.
This peculiar feeling
When I listen to Gould's music, I experience a peculiar feeling that I have not articulated nor found a medium to embody. Fragmented terms that may associated with this feeling: transparency, "archaic feeling", "original forest".
