Tim Howe was born in Eastleigh, though a good deal later than Benny Hill (+ 1992), the town's other hot shot.

Howe attended Chandlers Ford Junior School. The darker details of Tim's "Sturm and Drang" at this establishment emerged only when Howe went public on Friends Reunited, owning up to a dumb deed committed a quarter century earlier.

The misdemeanour? Deliberately throwing a stone, which shattered a window of his prefab classroom. The pane has only recently been replaced.

Based in Bavaria nowadays, Tim lectures in Business Administration and delivers in-company training and workshops on Business English skills. He also writes for a variety of journals, including the Weekly Telegraph, Audimax and Unicum. He is currently working on his semi-autobiographical "Teachers' Notes".
