Timi Zhuo Yi-Ting () (born October 2, 1981) is a prominent singer from Taiwan. She has recorded more than 600 songs in Mandarin and Taiwanese.

[edit] Biography

Zhuo started out as a singer in Taipei singing in Taiwanese. She was skilled at the piano from a very young age, and started her singing career when she was only five. Zhuo was such a young and beautiful girl when she started her singing career that she was given the name "Small Princess." Encouraged and arranged by her parents, she performed numerous times in China, Taiwan and Malaysia.

In 1998, at the age of 17, she contracted a stomach disease; as a result, she decided to take a rest and did not perform for a few years. Although rumors spread that she had died,[1] she returned to public performances with a concert in Beijing in the spring of 2002. She continues to perform in China. She was given a nickname of "Queen of all soft song singers."[citation needed]

Her latest album was issued on January 24, 2007 in Malaysia and China with a title of Gong Xi Fa Ca. It means "May You Prosper," a phrase commonly used by Chinese to greet each other during Chinese New Year.
