Timea

Timea, Tímea or, originally, Timéa is a female given name which is popular mostly in Hungary and Hungarian-speaking regions such as Transylvania (Romania) and Slovakia.

The name was created by the popular Hungarian author Mór Jókai for a figure in his 1872 novel Az arany ember (literally "The Golden Man", English title The Man with the Golden Touch). It is derivative of Euthymia, the Greek noun to "sweet natured".
