Timber Wharf is an innovative residential development in Manchester by Glenn Howells Architects.
Completed in the 1990s, it typifies the restrained, almost 'minimalist' architecture of this period.
The development was recipient of several awards and is notable for having been built at a cost of around £600 per square foot - considerably less than most similarly sized projects.[citation needed]
