This is a documentation subpage for Template:Timeline row (see that page for the template itself).
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template prints timeline rows in {{horizontal timeline}}.

Default colour for bars
Border for top and bottom of row. e.g. "solid 1px black"
REQUIRED - start of timeline
REQUIRED - end of timeline
Text to display in bar 
REQUIRED - Date to end bar.
Overrides default colour if set.

Each bar begins at the end of the last one. To leave a gap between bars, create a bar with no text and colour=transparent.

If you're trying to cram in vast numbers of bars, you may need to add more - instructions are to be found in the source code when you edit this page (or contact Verisimilus T if you're stuck!)
