[edit] Royals Purchase Contract of Nashua's Tim Bausher

The Nashua Pride announced today, June 26 of 2007, that their #19 has had his contract purchased by the Kansas City Royals. He'll be headed to their AA team in Wichita. The Royals seem to like Pride players, as Bausher is the third player Kansas City has bought from the Pride this season.
So far this season (2007), Bausher has started six times and has accumulated a 4-2 record and a 3.50 ERA. He has pitched 36 innings, gathering up 32 K's and keeping opposing batters down to a low .234 average.
In 2001, Tim was the 27th round pick of the Seattle Mariners in the MLB draft. Since then he has also pitched in the Milwaukee Brewers, Colorado Rockies, Boston Red Sox and Cincinnati Reds organizations.

Bausher currently resides in Bechtelsville, PA and is a graduate of Kutztown State (PA).

Also, there's a picture of him wearing his Nashua Pride hat at (http://www.prosportsmedia.com/pride/player_images/TimBausher19.jpg), but someone with more Wiki-knowledge should write the update and deal with the picture.
