[edit] 'Drunken Rampage?'

somebody needs to check that passage as it sounds like some 13 year old made it up.

It isn't true. I'm guessing some 13-year-old Brody fan DID make it up. 72.186.143.34 14:54, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Picture

We need a photo of Tim, with an appropriate license. The old one had an unknown license. Alt-F4 10:29, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Please!, check and add the appropriate license before adding anything, as images without or inappropriate licenses will get automatically removed. Alt-F4 09:46, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 'hardworking mother'

Does this count as POV? It doesn't seem very encyclopedic anyway. Tkos 22:34, 3 January 2006 (UTC)

I agree, it should be removed or replaced. Anyone got relevant info about his parents (and/or brothers) like names, occupation, etc or know a way to find out? Alt-F4

Tim's mother was an secretary, hardworking indeed she kept the family "floating" while his father drank his days away, according to Lars Fredriksen in a interview for the swedish music magazine Close-Up (Issue 15, 1995). For you non swedish people, here's a quick/dirty translation:

Matt's dad was a cop. Tim's an alcoholic, who would lie passed out at the yard when Tim went to school in the morning. The family where kept floating by his mom who worked as an secretary for $1.75/hour.

[edit] Vocals

Are you sure that he sings like that on purpose? if you listen to his voice in live freaky die freaky that's basically how he talks. he could be faking that too, but it sounds absolutely nothing like cockney.

Moved to rumors, since i couldn't find any source or proof for any of the claims. Alt-F4 11:03, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I was pretty sure his voice is that way because of past serious drug and alcohol problems. Add that to rumors too?

Yea, it was listed there before, seems like someone removed it though. Alt-F4

I've met him before. I didn't notice that his speech was slurred.

I knew him before his drug abusing days and his speech definitely was a bit slurred back then too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.203.6.177 (talk) 15:24, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Into punk at age 9

I removed the section that stated Armstrong was into punk music at the age of 9. That would make him a punk fan in 1975, before the first Ramones, Damned or Sex Pistols records. Since there wasn't really punk music in 1975 (without getting into semantics about the Dolls or Stooges), I doubt he was a fan that early, especially at that age. Gantry 23:49, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

He could be into punk at 9 because the frist ramones album come out April of '76 he was born Nov. of '66 so he was still 9 when the album come out.--69.113.131.124 23:11, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
