Tilda Newra is a city and a municipality in Raipur district in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh.

As of 2001 India census[1], Tilda Newra had a population of 26,637. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Tilda Newra has an average literacy rate of 63%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 72%, and female literacy is 53%. In Tilda Newra, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.
