Tilbury House is the oldest English language debating society in Germany. It was founded in 1997 by Paul Drew-Bear as part of the American Management Seminars at the University of Cologne. Today Tilbury House is student-run.
Tilbury House runs weekly debates in the British Parliamentary Style (BPS), Chamber Debates, internal tournaments, and several Cups as well as the yearly international Tilbury House Intervarsity.
