I have a very limited knowledge of Teddlie, but gleaned several items from searching the web. Some of his songs were and are popular among the churches where I grew up. His main influence was among the Churches of Christ, but he was important to the entire southern shape note tradition. I just wanted to start something. It needs a lot of work and additions, but maybe this gives something to work with for someone more familiar with his life and labors.
