[edit] Nails only

I edited the suitable fasteners that can be placed in the holes of the tie. Nails only are used and the manufacturer of the tie often designates which size and/or type. Screws are not to be used due to their poor shear strength. Ksailork 18:57, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
