Tibicena

Mythological creature of the ancient native people from Gran Canaria. The Tibicenas were demons who have body of great wild dogs with red eyes, covered by long and black wool and wich lived in deep caves inside the mountains, some real caves preserve today the ancient name of the tibicena's lair as "Cueva del Tibicena". Supposedly tibicenas attacked the livestock and persons specially in night.
