Hi, user:MPF, I see you've taken out the reference to the genus as a whole as clockvines. I'm not expert in this area so I'm not pushing it, but a number of sources I found seemed to use this name for any Thunbergia. Are you confident about this? seglea 08:19, 28 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Attribution to Anders Jahan Retziu

I wonder what the source is for the attribution of the Genus name to Anders Jahan Retziu. I don't believe this is correct. I believe Linnaeus named this Genus to honor his star pupil, Carl Peter Thunberg. In fact, I'm pretty sure. But I don't have a source handy.

Am I wrong?
