Hello. My name is Frederik Thrane, and I am 15 years old. I currently live in in the city of Odense in Denmark, but from 1995 to 1998 I lived in the village of Riedrode in Germany, and therefore I also have some knowledge of the German language, besides English, which I have spoken since I was 5 years old, and, of course, Danish, which is my native tongue.

I am a student in the Danish Folkeskole, currently in the 9th and last grade.

I am interested in many different things, too numerous to list here (at least until I get the time to do so), but my work on the English Wikipedia will primarily be working on articles related to Denmark and Germany.

I do have an user page on the Danish Wikipedia, but I am mostly active on the English Wikipedia. I believe that it is important to work on the English Wikipedia internationalizing its articles, as a large number of the articles today are US-biased. The reason to why I almost only work on the English Wikipedia is because I fear, that it might be an utopian dream to have a Wikipedia in such a relatively "small" language as Danish. There are simply too few people who master Danish to write a quality encyclopedia, and I feel that it is more important to concentrate on improving and internationalizing the English Wikipedia.
