This bit could possibly be replaced by a disambiguation minder redirecting people looking for the thermodynamic meaning to the Joule-Thomson effect.

I agree, but I believe thermodynamic throttling should be separate from the Joule-Thomson effect. Otherwise it would be like clumping together Newton's Law with a car or something. kevinthenerd 17:08, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
