[edit] Speedy Deletions and Notability

Hi Thomasfilmdude. My apologies if it seems like I'm trying to shut you down or diminish the accomplishments of the individuals and companies you're trying to write about--please rest assured that is not my intent.

Rather, I suggest you review Wikipedia's policy on notability for more information on why these articles have been tagged for a lack of notability. In essence, notability hinges on the amount of attention a subject recieves in reliable sources such as newspapers and magazines. Although you could reasonably argue against this, this policy is based on consensus, and consensus is one of the five pillars of Wikipedia.

Please note that just because these articles are deleted now, this doesn't mean you can't recreate them down the line. If you choose to do so, I suggest you first create a draft of the article in your sandbox, ensure that it complies with the notability guidelines above, ensure that it is properly formatted and sourced, and then move it to the mainspace as a proper article. Although I can't guarantee that this won't result in the pages being nominated for deletion yet again, I can tell you that it will be much easier to make your case for the articles remaining if they are in presentable shape. As an added bonus, pursuing that option will require you to learn a lot about Wikipedia and the article creation process, hopefully spurring you on to even greater things here at our little site.
