[edit] Welcome Template

I pretty much use it for people I've seen editing articles relating to Christianity/Christian theology...whether or not they are Christian. Welcome to Wikipedia! Happy editing...and merry Christmas! KHM03 22:08, 4 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] New Jerusalem Study Bible

I appreciate the NJ translation (though I prefer the "old" Jerusalem to the new one), but am not familiar with the study edition. Of course, as a mainline United Methodist, I generally prefer study editions of either a Wesleyan (Reflecting God, Wesley Bible) or an academic (New Oxford, New Interpreter's) nature. [edit] Physicalism

I have added the article physicalism to the entries needing attention on [1]. I have put that project into some order and your are invited to join as a participant. If you know anyone else who might be intereted, you might also ask them if they would like to participate. Currently I am the only one who has signed up. Thank you.---Lacatosias 09:22, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

Alas, Phil of Mind is not an area of exprertise of mine. Thanks for the invite though. Thomas Ash 13:15, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Big Issue Ground ?

Hi Thomas, Is Big Issue Ground down for good? I can't seem to access the website at all. I really wanted to read your article on the justification of punishment, but I bookmarked it and haven't had the chance to see it. Is it available elsewhere?

It's back now. I was away from home and my passwords, so unable to renew the domain name, and there were a few hair-raising hours when I thought I'd lost it for good, but you'll be glad to know it's safe and sound. Read away! Thomas Ash 01:42, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Consequentialism

Hi. Your recent deletion of material from Consequentialism (without any edit summary) broke the subsequent references to J.L. Mackie. I have therefore restored it. If you feel this material should be removed, please use the talk page and make an effort to add the full reference back into the article in one of its daughter tags. Viriditas (talk) 05:47, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

I've also reverted your deletions (lacking edit summary) on List of topics in epistemology‎. Viriditas (talk) 05:51, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for using edit summaries, but as I suggested above, the talk page is the place to explain your edits. The edit summary merely summarizes your changes, and is helpful to editors using a watchlist or watching recent changes for vandalism. The material you deleted from both articles should be explained on talk. The content you removed from consequentialism appeared to be sourced, and should be attributed, not deleted, if it is correct. Most of the entries you removed from the list appear to be categorized under the topic, so your removal doesn't make sense. Please use the talk page to explain your edits. Thanks. [edit] Edit summary

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field - please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you.
