Joel Thong (7 February 1991 - Present)

Born Thong Ji-En Joel of Chinese parents Thong Soo Hing Joseph and Lim Siew Cheng, Joel "Thong" Thong descends from Khek roots which could be traced from China, where his grandfather descended from.

Joel is described by others as a lovable and outgoing person with a "nice but slightly mischievous" personality.

Even though his parents took an "indefinite hiatus" to their marriage in October 1995, Joel had an enjoyable childhood and was not too traumatized by it. He started his education in Emmanuel Childhood Centre when he at three years of age. Subsequently, he attended Touch Kindergarten and Tung Ling Kindergarten from ages five to six.

At 1998, when he was six years old, he began a wonderful journey in the Anglo Chinese School or ACS family at Anglo Chinese School (Junior) at 25 Peck Hay Road. His primary school moments were eventful and happy and he made many new friends. It was at Primary Four where he met his best friend Michael Alexander Chee Ying Han who was his classmates in 4.9.
