Altered Addiction is an American Hard Rock/metal/punk band, hailing from delray beach florida. They are best known for their heavy, fill-packed drum sound, and the fast melodic harmony on guitar.They have a growing fanbase with over 17,750 plays and 1,160 friends on myspace, thier primary site, and purevolume thier secondary site.The members of the band are Skyler kelly lead harmonic/melodic guitar ,Thomas francis carney, drummer, Fabain Maloney, harmonic guitar/vocal, and Brian Carney, Vocal.

PRE BAND YEARS

The band Altered Addiction was a result of many years work and breakups of other bands. The first of these bands was Execution, a 4 piece hard rock band, of which Fabian Maloney and Skyler Kelly played guitar, and T.francis was later asked to join. After a view songs were written, such as "Rock" and "Just skyeing" and "the sky song" the band full apart. About a year later, there was an attemped revival consisting of Fabian, skyler, thomas F, and others, but this to failed. after this, no seroius bands were formed between the members.

FORMING OF ALTERED ADDICTION

The band was finally formed after a long uneventful lull on Dec.24, at 12:11 P.M. Skyler kelly had sent T.francis a comment, which would turn out to be the forming of the band. Practices began soon after, at Tom(francis)'s house almost every weekend. The band, which then had only 2 members, were struggling to come up with a name, often trying name generators. Eventually the name "bias tragety" (which was purposfully spelled incorrectly)was formed. Soon after, two songs were written. First "Decade", their most popular songs, and following came "jam session." Needed new members, the band began asking players in thier schools. Only a very few showed intrest, so they continued with just the two of them.
      After several months, the members decided the name "bias tragety" was an emo sounding name, so they wanted to change. Soon Skyler Kelly coined the name "Fossil"        -MORE TO COME VERY SOON-
