Thought Equity Motion is a stock footage supplier. The company has headquarters in Denver, and offices in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Indianapolis, Laramie and Tokyo. The company was founded in 2002 by Kevin Schaff, who currently serves as CEO.
The company has formed content partnerships with film and entertainment companies such as National Geographic, Sony Pictures Entertainment, HBO Archives, the NCAA and Warren Miller Entertainment.[citation needed]
NBC News selected Thought Equity Motion to convert and distribute their archive of news footage. The deal was announced on July 10, 2007.[1]
On August 7, 2007, it was announced that Thought Equity Motion had acquired the Australian firm FilmWorld.[2]
