Thonon-les-Bains (literally, Thonon-the-Baths) is a picturesque French spa town located on the south shore of the Leman Lake. Thonon is a commune and a sous-préfecture of the Haute-Savoie département. The town was the capital of Chablais, a province of the old Duchy of Savoy.
