Thomas Vitolo

Thomas Vitolo (b. 1978) is a Boston-area engineer and a Democratic Town Meeting Member of the Town of Brookline, Massachusetts. Mr. Vitolo is one of 240 town meeting members in the town of Brookline. After being narrowly defeated in 2006, he helped get all five of his coalition members elected in the May 2007 race. This gives his coalition a majority (8/15) for the first time in many years. In a precinct with 2,434 registered voters, Mr. Vitolo slid into office by garnering a total of 311 votes. Having triple-majored in applied mathematics, computer science, and economics, he brings a wealth of theoretical and practical know-how to his community efforts. A big fan of cannolis, the New York Mets, Boston baked beans, and algorithms, Mr Vitolo brings a diversified slate and palate to Brookline.
